I think there is also a sizable chunk of Kasich/TRUMP/Sanders voters, so it may end up being a draw on the Democratic side in terms of effect.

Now I may be wrong, but TRUMP tends to match his numbers with Independents and Republicans. Rubio underperforms with independents, Kasich massively overperforms, and Cruz narrowly underperforms.

Moderate in Mississippi ≠ moderate nationally.

Obviously. But this is a group that would go to a Rubio if Rubio were running a competent campaign.

One note here - Kasich was endorsed by the Governor of Idaho, Cruz was endorsed by the Governor of Mississippi. Look at how both of those states turned out. wamp wamp wamp.
