Is it too late for McDaniel to run as a third party Tongue

I'm sure he's furious.

All that out-of-state Tea Party that poured in to Mississippi was for nothing!!! Hahaha!!

Hopefully it will help Landrieu and Pryor at least that Republicans blew money here instead of there.

This actually saves them money in the long run, since Chris McDaniel would've been a disaster as a general election candidate.

I was wrong, but I don't think I, unlike some posters, left out the possibility of a Cochran win.

But a fun little quote:

I'm so looking forward to tomorrow night, some people are going to be very disappointed when Cochran doesn't win. McDaniel is up eight in the last poll, it's delusional to think that he isn't going to win.

Also, no, Mississippi is not an FF state just because it re-elected its Senator.

They still haven't called Doug Lamborn. Maybe he is in trouble, I've heard Irv Halter is a great recruit. Probably not though.

only highlight of tonight is Richard Hanna's survival. We need more pro-gay marriage and (relatively) pro-choice Republicans.

I don't think it's too surprising Perdue won. He had the momentum, Kingston's campaign showed he couldn't close the deal even with every single advantage possible (the primary too showed him as rather weak). I think Perdue is a stronger general election candidate too. However, this primary process probably put Nunn as a possible winner anyway.

Pompeo looks like he'll be winning his seat. Surprisingly, Huelskamp is in more trouble. Who is LaPolice anyway?

Tmth was closer to right on the Gubernatorial Primary than I, looks like Brownback will be heading to the general.

God damn, the gap is closing in Michigan. Amash is only up 54-46.

We'll see if AOSHQHDD is right in calling it this early.

33 votes is such a small margin. I hope Tracy demands for a recount.

I think Carr had a strong performance, considering he was outspent 5-1 and wasn't really thought of as a high quality candidate.

We shall see what the Bachmann replacement will be like, might just be a low-profile member like most.

Emmer might have ambitions within Minnesota, but otherwise he'll probably be a relatively quiet backbencher.

Ambitions within Minnesota? Do you mean he's going to challenge Klobuchar in 2018?

Much more likely Governor, since he already ran for it and came this close to winning it.

I want to see how this continues, but in Wyoming, A former statewide officer trails the incumbent Governor AND a Some Dude to the Some Dude level.

Haynes got 7% of the general election vote in 2010 as a write-in. I guess Wyomingites have a special foundness for black Tea Partiers? (FTR, I support Haynes as well)

Wow, didn't know that. That's kind of impressive, actualy.

This will be a tougher race for Begich to win now. Sullivan is the strongest general election candidate in my mind.

Miller's strong performance is pretty incredible considering the lack of funds he had and his incredibly weak level of advertising. If he had even close to the money Sullivan had, he would be wiping the floor with both of them. And Treadwell's performance is pretty embarrassing, not even close to what I was expecting him to do.

Ducey so far looks to sweep all the counties, expect for Christine Jones winning Yuma county. Smith does well in most candidates, in particular Maricopa county, but he doesn't pick up anything. Too little too late?

Rhode Island Governors race will probably be the one I watch most. I suspect Dems are favored, but Reps have a decent selection between a Mayor of one of the bigger RI towns and a very very moderate candidate.

I'm disappointed Innis didn't win, but he's performing exceptionally well (holding Guinta to a single digit lead), I hope he runs again.

It is one disappointing night in New Hampshire Sad

Coakley leads by 6, she'll probably hold on.

Raimondo looks like she has a clear victory, but we still got another 50% or so of the vote to go. That's surprising to me, considering the last poll was a Pell surge. Lincoln Chafee must be really toxic.

Also, 0.2% of the vote in, Teachout leads 65-31. No doubt this result will not hold, but fun.
