How well are the Cheneys liked in Wyoming?

Very little if I remember correctly.

I remember reading that one of the big reasons Freudenthal was elected was because Cheney campaigned hard for his opponent to the point where everyone who hated Cheney voted Democrat.

From what I heard, there is a kind of large libertarian faction of the Wyoming Republican Party, and those guys I guess were repelled by Cheney. Makes sense if thats true.

Even that would still require a skilled Democratic candidate, and I don't believe there is one left (And no, Freudenthal will never run).

I don't think she will. Wyoming is a small state, probably more knowing of their politicians. If she strikes them as out of touch, it will hurt her more than in other states.

I know it Wyoming, but thats kinda douchy, given her family.

I know that polling show that Wyoming is against SSM, but I think this is one place were voters wouldn't punish a Republican for supporting it. Totally douchy!

Yeah, I'd imagine there isn't a particularly big socially conservative contingent in WY.

Well, it seems to have a strong socially moderate wing that often wars with the conservative wing. Not quite unlike Kansas (though Kansas Democrats LITERALLY register Republican to win).

There's no way they can. Even if Liz Cheney somehow wins the primary, she'll still win easily against any democratic candidate.

And I find the possibility of Senator Liz Cheney utterly disgraceful. I hope there are other republicans in Wyoming that agree with me. I mean, come on guys.
