Assuming he never got cancer and remained healthy, John McCain I think switches over to the Democratic Party after the January 6 insurrection. He also would have easily voted in favor of both of Donald Trump's impeachments. As a Democrat, John McCain would be the favorite to win against Mark Brnovich in 2022, albeit by only a 10% margin (unlike Mark Kelly who probably lose by 5% against Mark Brnovich).
