Roosevelt isn't a god and not all that great IMO, since his policies actually lenghtened the Depression and kept a lot of people in Poverty. Trump wins.
I can't see someone like FDR appeal to Hispanics. "I'm going to raise Taxes and increase your dependency on the Government". That'll go over well with a lot of people 🙄
The great irony is that FDR would narrowly lose Tennessee against Donald Trump even though the New Deal was beneficial to a majority of Tennesseans overall. Tennessee is one of the most partisan Republican states at the Presidential level due to the fact that the Republican Party is socially conservative (an overwhelming majority of Tennesseans identify as socially conservative), supports less environmental regulations (particularly on the use of coal), and opposes even the most basic forms of gun control.
