Fantastic stuff. I'd like to have precinct data for my hometown and surroundings!

I found in Wikipedia that there's a railway called Moor Express crossing the Teufelsmoor between Stade and Osterholz-Schambeck, passing through Bremervörde and that "black country". Stade falls into your map and it looks like black is less dark with some red precincts (right?). In a post above, I see SPD polled a respectable 34.1% in Stade and 37% in Gnarrenburg -a town in the Rottenburg district which is crossed by that railway- and even 32.4% in Bremevörde. Towns aside, the Express might be a good way of making tourism into the deep black countryside.

However, most characteristic are the small medieval backyard alleys ("Gänge"), often donated by rich merchants as refuges for widows and elderly people, and now quite sought after as a way to live downtown yet quiet.

Well, I think, you've got the idea...

This looks like a good place to live in. I think I've got the idea; such level of detail is fascinating to see.
