"President Bush, how will you repair relations between the United States and everyone else?"
"We aren't going to, but at least I'm convinced we're right!"

I don't understand....Bush is saying that Kerry MUST raise taxes because he is proposing new spending.  But Bush has done all sorts of new spending and hasn't raised taxes, so why will Kerry necessarily raise taxes because he has proposed new spending?

Because Kerry is liberal (have you heard?) so he's bad and evil and loves government and money and will raise everyone's taxes by 500%, remember?

Gibson keeps coming back on how Kerry will do all the spending and deficit reduction, three times; Kerry didn't give him an answer.

Neither did Bush.

Wow, we beat a democrat on the issue of abortion.

Well, yeah, given that you agree with what Bush said and not what Kerry said.

OUCH!  That last question is the toughest of the night.

The first gotchya of the night.  Charlie saved it for last.

Bush did a great job of twisting it to his advantage it.  Solid answer.

Solid answer?  Solid complete non-answer, maybe.

Well, I'd rate that at roughly a draw.  Kerry supporters will probably say Kerry won and Bush supporters will probably say Bush won.
