Well to not allow a person of a race not to vote is against that.

The amendment says, "on account of race" - in other words, the reason for denying the person the right to vote cannot be based on the person's race.  If it's based on a reason other than race, color, or previous condition of servitude, then it does not violate the fifteenth amendment.
