He asks "everything". I suppose that means "anything; ie is there anything you`re doing that you wouldn`t stop if it got banned". The punishment question is definitely valid, though.

Well, either way, the question depends on what the punishments are.  If it was something like death, then given that receiving this penalty would not change a thing, I would not opt to be a completely unnoticed martyr over giving up the action.

Or that it wa something that would not get noticed easily.
Or both.

In that case, no, I probably wouldn't.

And yes, I know that your point is that something being illegal does not make it bad, and yes, I agree with that.
