Dammit, you're right.  I'm going to have to start varying the way I do those posts, e.g.

Something like that perhaps?

Hah, that would certainly spice things up. Cheesy

In other news, migrendel's run is done.

How many times did Opebo use 'intolerant' and 'poor'?

intolerant - 130

Unfortunately, "poor" is a word under five letters long that I forgot to make an exception, so one can only guess.

There is no possible way opebo has said "prude" only 26 times.

(Do a board search for "prude" with user: opebo)

Beats me.  Maybe something went wrong with that word or something.

Oh, wait, I think I figured it out.  "Prudes" (pluralized) is another 20, and then there's "prudery" and "prudish" for another combined 26.  "Prude's" adds another 2 and "prudeland" is 1 more.

So, in total, we have 75 instances of words based on the word "prude".  That matches up much better with the results of the search.

EDIT: And "prudesville" for 1 more.  This guy likes making up words. Smiley

Wow, quite a few more requests. Smiley  I'll do all of them when I get home.

I don't remember ever using this word. Much less 300 times Huh

I have a feeling that was due almost entirely to this topic.

Here's an idea for a modification to your program that might be fun.  Count word usage by subject, broken into categories like:
Social Issues: abortion, gay marriage, civil unions, civil rights, affirmitive action, strip club, etc.
Economic Issues: tax, spend, poverty, deficit, budget, property rights, labor, etc.
Foreign Policy: terror, Iraq, military, defense, al Qaida, etc.

Then come up with averages for word usage by topic by measuring many members.  You can next compare single members against the averages and we can see if their "hot button" issues are really what we think they are.

Count subsets of words as words (terror counts "terror" as well as "terrorism", "terrorist", etc.).
That'd probably a hell of a lot more difficult to write.

Not necessarily, but I would need to modify my program to search for phrases instead of single words, and that might take a bit of effort.

Okay, I've started another run of 8, which means that everyone up to Blue Rectangle is currently being processed.

btw Gabu, how many times has opebo said lions?

lions - 55
lionfeeding - 2

Sadly "lion" is not available as it's only four letters long.  Should have thought of that.

think and people seem to be high up on the list for most people (myself including).

ohhh How many times have been said for the following:

BRTD: strip clubs, suburbs
Killerpollo:fag, asian, Mexican (and Mexico)
jfern:statistically, Republicans
Phillip:tax, unconstitutional, property
Keystone Phil: Santorum
PBrunsel:Hoover

Of those, BRTD is currently being done and Philip has already been done.  I believe that "tax" and "unconstitutional" were already listed, but here's property:

property - 197

No, only five or higher words count.

I can make exceptions in my program for specific words under five letters long.  I made a permanent one for "Bush".

Please add  myself and J.J. to the run.

And if you are going to run JJ, you just have to run jfern.  They are linked at the hip.

And Dave.  Dave would be fun.

I currently have a full load, but I'll start you three when someone else finishes.

No hurry.  But if it is not done by the time I wake up I'll, well, i'll think about heading to Washington, hunting you down, inflicting grievous physical harm and leaving you bleeding in the wilderness for big foot to feast upon you.  Then I'll decide to sit on my computer all day instead.

I'll take that under consideration.
