back then, the state was rather different, lots have moved there since. It was more similar to Georgia at the time. Not big on Dukakis for obvious reasons.
Fun Fact: Broward and Palm Beach counties are considered Dem strongholds today, but 1992 was the first time a Democrat had won Palm Beach county since 1944. It was also the first time a Democrat had won Broward since 1976, other than that it voted Republican in every election since 1944, including 1964 for both. They both voted over 60% for Kerry. Shows how much a place can change in only 16 years.
Democrats ruin a county whenever they move in (ex. Nassau NY, Bergen NJ, Oakland MI, etc.)
You're an idiot.
It's an opinion
Your opinion is wrong.
Based on the examples he gave, he isn't. I'm old enough to remember when Seattle was GOP territory, then the libs came in and now it isn't nearly so nice. Same goes for the entire NW.
What is not so nice about it?
It's now liberal, duh.
