So what's the change like? More favourable to Tories, Labour or Lib Dems?
Undoubtedly it will turn out more favourable to the Tories, given the flight to the suburbs and country from 1950 to 1997. Salford East and West, for example, by 1950 were just Salford. The three and a half seats in what is now LB Islington were two by 1997 - etc.

However the map is not clear, and the Sheffield data is alnost notoriously faulty, particularly if you go back further - their 19th C data is meaningless.
