I don't know what I am impatient to wait for, hearing Biden's running mate or Wonder Woman 1984 being released.

WW1984 for me.

I might be more impatient to hear Biden's running mate.

I'm just hoping WW84 doesn't get delayed again, or else that will beat it.

Trick question, because the answer is Black Widow (which was supposed to come out 3 months ago now).

I’m also eagerly waiting for that one too.

From how folks are reacting, I really hope it'll be Rice now.

After all, I thought running mates have very little impact on the election.

Normally they don't, but they can help solidify bases.

Trump picking Pence helped solidify the social conservative Evangelical base (they were mostly with Cruz).

Also let's not forget Palin helped bring down McCain.

I hope Biden announces his pick today.

I can't stand another week of this thread.

Same here.

It’s Kamala Harris.

Putting anyone less popular and experienced than Harris is a risk for the average swing voter.

Also putting a White woman is a risk to the large Black voting bloc of the Democratic Party.

It's difficult to predict, but I'm going with Susan Rice. It seems that he knows Rice best, and given how far ahead Biden is in polling, I think he'll pick the person he wants to govern with the most, and won't consider electoral concerns as much.

I think Biden is not making the same mistakes Hillary is making with a pick like that and for that reason.

The polls seem to be tightening in MI and WI. That's one reason I am definitely taking the Whitmer idea seriously. Biden cannot mess around and Harris/Rice just don't offer any kind of regional boost.

If it’s Whitmer it’s for that reason alone.

Which is more likely to happen?

-Biden’s running mate announcement within 24 hrs
-Wonder Woman 1984 being released in theaters this fall
-The Detroit Tigers winning the 2020 World Series

I remember listening in a podcast that VP picks know their plane is being tracked by reporters. So to throw it off they take off in places they wouldn’t expect. Like Kamala is from the Bay Area CA so she’d have to fly perhaps from Kansas or maybe in the Midwest to throw it off. She would drive there too.

I think this thread is making me feel like a kid in Christmas Eve night.

God I miss those days.
