Nah.
I think America can get used to a bachelor president. Considering there's now a large unmarried population in the US than ever before, I think we might get a large number of bachelor/bachelorette presidents in the future. Much like how we're suddenly getting a lot of non-veteran Presidents in the last 20 years.
Back in the fifties and sixties, when my father was young, if you were unmarried, people generally believed that something was wrong with you.
In some regions it is, here in Houston it's a mixture. I'm not married yet, no one says anything.
