Not surprising, this is what happens when a Trump-ish Republican is the nominee. Rubio or Kasich would have landslided here.


Nah, Cruz would've landslided here. He's a native to Houston.

Rubio would be on par with Romney in 2012, and Kasich would've been toast here.

Too bad HERO wasn't on the ballot this year, huh?



A lot of people were thinking HERO would help put more Hispanics and Blacks to the Republican Party locally in 2016 since a lot of them were the main reason HERO was shot down in flames. That didn't happen.
