Well the guy has basically governed as a Republican, so I don't see why not. I mean, what with all the extra-judicial murders going on abroad, the ever growing surveillance state, tearing up UAW contracts, pushing for charter schools and going after teachers, and with the rich now owning even more of the country's wealth, I'd say that Obama will be remembered very fondly as the Democrat who did most of the Republicans' dirty work.
I agree with 2 of the 3 things that I have in bold but charter schools are bad?

Since you say he has governed as a Republican I am just gonna throw these 2 things out there: What Republican would put big regulations on the coal industry that he has? What Republican supports a millionares or a maximum 30% tax on millionares regardless if it nets less revenue from capital gains?

The other day, I don't remember who it was, but somebody mentioned that in about twenty years or so that Obama might be remembered more fondly by "True Left" types.  However, I remember being around when Bill Clinton was President and everyone I knew thought he was an out and out socialist who wanted to take over America and would ban guns, yada yada yada.  Whenever Obama got into office my folks openly bemoaned that they wish Clinton was President, or "I can't believe it, but I miss Clinton" yada yada yada.

Which brings me to the obvious question: Is there a possibility that in the future Republicans will remember Barack Satan Hussein Obama fondly like they do Clinton?  Will history run in such a way that when the next socialist commie Democrat gets elected, right wingers and whatever equivalent of "Tea Partiers" there are out in the future will look upon Obama as "a reasonable Democrat"?

Before anyone says "no, because he's a black" I'm referring to at least eight years in the future when youngs will grow older and what not.  I certainly think this is not only possible, but will happen. . . . especially when America gets more left wing (sorry guys, it's going to happen).  And I will laugh, pretty hard, when the first thing that many GOPhers will mention about what made Obama so reasonable is the Affordable Care Act.

Any other opinions on this?
I had to laugh about Clinton banning guns thing and that he was a socialist.

No Republicans will look at Obama like Jimmy Carter or Richard Nixon 20 years from now.
