More moderate purging? At this rate, Dems will have a party ID majority.
This is what I don't get. How are they going to appeal to minorities when they are always listening to the far right flank in the party. I mean they want to primary Saxby Cambliss(R-GA) of all people with Rep Tom Price next cycle. How do you expect to get anything done when you can't work with the other party? Answer is you can't. I expected the GOP to get it this time. The GOP is right that their ground game is way behind the Dems in presidential years(in the last 2 cycles I think the GOP means) but their platform needs some tweaking(i.e. moderate) to appeal to minorities. Most minorities probably agree with the GOP that we have a spending problem but listening to Grover Norquist(no new taxes) is where the GOP loses their argument on fiscal issues.
I vote Republican mostly. The reason I won't register as a Republican is because of the religious right, and now the far right on taxing. I live in NJ so I don't care for some of the GOP's southern base on wedge issues.
