I can imagine Gov. Charlie Crist of Florida taking the stage at the DNC to talk about how he's become a Democrat and how the Republicans have grown too extreme and gone far-right, leading him to join the Dems.

Crist changes his ID to Democrat, gives a long speech about how his party is too extreme, and at the end announces his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Governor in 2014.
