Honestly, I think it's an unfair standard. There's stuff for everyone to do. That said, I also just don't believe that this legislation will accomplish much.

Also, I like the president's suggestion that we throw it to an impeachment vote rather than have people directly lose their office. Sometimes there are unforeseeable circumstances. I'm back from my vacation now, but I basically had no internet the whole time despite being told I would. I enjoy Atlasia, so I found at least some minimal time to drop in using department store wifi, but that shouldn't be the expectation if people are up the creek without a paddle.

I abstained because I see the need for a better mechanism to combat inactivity, but I also realize that special circumstances could prevent an official from posting in the forum or issuing a leave of absence. It's better that inactivity would trigger an impeachment hearing over automatic expulsion, but I'm not necessarily sure that it's worth the big "to-do" of impeachment.

That's my official answer. My unofficial answer is that I'm just not passionate enough about this amendment to pick a side. Tongue
