Kinda disappointed folks have discounted this thread so quickly. There are a lot of social circles where being Christian is frowned upon and certainly a minority. Go to Ryerson University in downtown Toronto and see how many people are Christians in any way beyond celebrating Christmas.
That's still a far cry from being a widespread social stigma.
I never said it was widespread. But if it happens to be concentrated in the area you live and in the circles you frequent, it can still foster a sense of unwelcomeness, which would amount to a lot of pressure and discomfort.
