He goes back on his promise to retire every six years, so no. If he finally decides to retire, good for him, but until the filing deadline is over, I'm convinced he'll run.

If Chaffetz decides to run against him, I think Chaffetz might be able to oust Hatch in a primary. Add a potential independent Huntsman candidacy, disgruntled Hatch supporters, and Democrats probably supporting Huntsman... You could have some pretty interesting results in 2018.
