Blasphemy! No true Brit.. make that no true Commonwealth citizen would ever not spell the "British way". Unless they're French. Most people who use US spelling in Canada are French, somewhat ironically.

They usually have no clue than they are doing so, too.

It's amusing when a French Canadian spells it "center" considering the way it's spelled in French is also the commonwealth spelling. Same with defence/defense.
