I guess so.  And the shading denotes their moderate/extreme persuasion?

I have absolutely no idea what election match-up would produce the map though.

I think the shading is what % of the vote they got.

That is correct Smiley Now what Presidential race would create such an odd map?

Ah yes, that makes more sense.  Hoeven got <70%.

Huh?  I wasn't being sarcastic.  I probably meant '>70%'.  I get confused by which direction the symbol is supposed to point.

Oh sorry. Also note, DC is 60+ which is very low for a Democrat (mayoral race)
