If the speeches last night in NYC were any indication, this whole week may be attacks by the “moderate” republicans in the party.  How does this represent the republican party when many of the “conservative” members, such as the president, and much of the West and Southeast don’t agree with people like McCain and Guliani on many issues?  Isn’t this kind of a smoke and mirrors for where they really stand?  I realize 9.11 was an awful day, but there are other things that have happened in the last three years, what else is there to run on for the republicans?  Bush has allot of work to do Thursday night if there is only we-good-theys-is-evil-folks-who-hates-us-and-must-be-destoryed-flag-waving until then.
