I have never liked Dean much, but in recent weeks my respect for him has grown.  He did get screwed over by the press and now it came out by his democrat rivals.

Kerry, Gephardt and Clark apparently gave money and had people from their staffs work on the shady ads that ran early on in december against Dean from the shadow group calling into question Dean's foreign policy experience.

Plus Sen Robert "I I am a crooked mob connected fundraiser" raised money for this organization and is continuing to raise money for Kerry.  This all plays very well into Dean's theme of corrupt Washington Insiders in both parties.  I think this could get some traction if he can get some attention to it.

Well some of the things Dean says are true of both parties.  There is a disconnect sometimes with Washington and the rest of America.  They make MTs out of moehills, on DUMB issues sometimes.  I especially hate it when all the groups in a home state in a bipartisan side support someone , like Charles Pickering, but Dem in DC make an issue out of it.

I never agreed with drug running stories on Clinton, sleazy on GOP side vs Clinton and I don't agree with Dems attacks on Bush that he is a miserable failure, HELLO?!.  Lets be civil at least.

Plus as a Vet, hard to respect Kerry with his anti-war protests.  That is fine and his right but don't shove your war record in my face and ask me to ignore everything else.

I heard about this on NPR yesterday and was so saddened by it. Jravnsbo, I'm glad you respect Dean, most republicans just bash him without reason.
