Per Gallup, he's been at 48% for the past couple of days.

Gallup: 49% Approval up Monday's 47%.


In stark contrast, Bush had a 31% Approval rating at the same point. 

Obama also has 43% approval from Independents, and 10% from Republicans.  Bush had 26% approval from I's, and 6% from Democrats.
