In about 1987, a letter writer to the Boston Globe described herself in this way. She was in her 90s and had voted Dem all her life, but for Reagan in '80 and '84. She expressed a desire to return to the Dems "fearful and anxious for the future" so we can only suppose she voted for Dukakis.
