Corker For President Radio ad airing in Iowa & South Carolina

Values:
Bob Corker: Hi, I'm Bob Corker, and I'm seeking the Republican nomination for President of the United States. I believe in the values that have made America great. As President, I will stand for our second amendment rights and will repeal and replace Obamacare because it is only making the system worst. It's time for our nation to get back on fiscal track, and on day one, I will introduce a balanced budget amendment. We cannot afford four more years of failed leadership. Im Bob Corker and I approve this message.

Debate Question:
"“There’s no question that China manipulates its currency, but I don’t believe that calling China currency manipulators bring any production to the U.S. or create one job here in America. If we want to do something productive regarding China, we should focus on pushing the Chinese to end preferential procurement policies, addressing China’s disregard for intellectual property rights, encouraging the Chinese to make investments in manufacturing plants in the U.S., and ensuring that America maintains access to the 1.3 billion Chinese consumers. These are the right policy responses toward Beijing. "

Bob Corker Debate Response: Healthcare

President Obama and the Democrats in Congress rammed Obamacare down our throat, and 2010 was a pretty good indication that American's don't want it as our policy. I happen to agree, and like Governor Romney, will grant a waiver on day one to all states, allowing them to opt out of Obamacare. It is essential that we repeal and replace. Obamacare cut hundreds of billions of dollars in Medicare as well. Seniors, my message to you is this: As your President, I will fight to restore those funds to Medicare and working with both sides, we will come up with a plan to ensure Medicare stays around for generations to come.

As a US Senator, I have been leading the fight to find practical, common-sense solutions to fix our broken healthcare system. Currently, individuals are forced to purchase only the health plans available state, even if a neighboring state has a more affordable and flexible plan. I co-sponsored the Health Care Choice Act, which would remove that barrier, increasing competition and driving down costs for hard-working American families.

We need to move beyond solutions that only nibble at the edges of a much larger crisis facing our country: the nearly 46 million Americans that lack basic health insurance. This Congress owes the American public our attention to a crisis that is affecting so many individuals and their families. I believe this is our moral obligation, and under the failed policies of Barack Obama, we have let the American people down.

                                   Bob Corker Press Conference

Reporter: Senator Corker what is your thoughts on the recent negative ads?

Corker: I think we need to start focusing on the real target, President Obama, the more we argue the more this will help his reelection campaign. I always believe in the 11th commandment of Republican Politics "Thou shalt not speak ill of any Republican.".

Bob Corker Press Conference - October 25th, Ceder Rapids Iowa

Good afternoon.

Unfortunately, this campaign has not gone quite how we had hoped. Therefore, I will be ending my bid for the Republican nomination. I thank all those who worked tirelessly for our campaign - God Bless you. I just don't see a viable path going forward.

I hope to continue to play a role in bringing fiscal conservatism to Washington - we badly need some of that in the White House! That is why today I am announcing my endorsement of Mitt Romney for President. Whether it be leading Bain Capital, serving as the head of the SLC Olympics, or balancing budgets in Massachusetts, Mitt Romney has been a leader all of his life. He is the best man to take on Obama in November and he will made an excellent president. I look forward to campaigning on his behalf. Thank you and god bless.
