Although Mac is well-known as a war hawk, I honestly don't see him getting involved too much more in the Middle East - maybe a more aggressive stance with no fly zones and stuff but being in the Oval Office, likely surrounded by advisers who know what they're talking about, would temper his push for boots on the ground. Mac knew that we needed more troops to finish the job in Iraq from Day 1, and in order to get the troops necessary for full-scale invasions of Syria and Libya, you'd probably have to bring back the draft. And he may be incredibly hawkish but that doesn't mean downright stupid - he would know that intervention in North Korea, China, Russia and/or Ukraine could result in nuclear war. If Mac actually intended to invade these countries, I'd expect him to do things a lot more carefully thsn the Bush Administration, which spent only 2 months prior to the invasion planning the reconstruction of postwar Iraq
