Obama's "church"

You can tell a lot about a person by who they choose to associate with. His wife, his pastor. For someone who converted to a religion and chose his church and chose his wife, it reflects poorly on his character and his judgement.

Republicans don't care about the facts as long as they don't suit their interests. They'd much rather base their arguments on Internet smear campaigns and street rumors. 

Fact: His pastor did indeed make such comments.

Fact: Obama still attends the church.

Which part of my comment was factually inaccurate?

How did Kerry not? He could've renounced it and converted.

Sure, but Kerry didn't decide, "Oh, I'm going to be a Catholic and attend this church", Obama did.

And people don't just become racists out of the blue. If my pastor was spouting off about the "black menace" and saying n during his sermons, I'd sure as hell find a new church to attend.

He doesn't need to actually believe this guy, but the very fact that he calls this guy an inspiration to him and listened to him for years adds another mark to the list of bad judgement calls he's made (Pakistan, smoking, his wife...).
