I would have to listen to his hearings to make sure he didn't hide something outrageous, but as I know him now he seems like a solid conservative and a strong supporter of property rights. I'd say Yes.

Not surpringly Bob Casey has remained silent on the issue.

I sent the Casey campaign an e-mail.  Let's see if I receive a response.

Casey would do well not to get involved in this unless something happens that destroys Roberts and hurts Santorum. Casey can either oppose a pro-life nominee and have his anti-abortion credentials tarnished or he can oppose his party's leadership and major fundraisers. I'd stay quiet for the next two months.
