1. That's not what 'sage' means, please stop using it in that context.

2. The increase in market prerogatives, lowering of wages, and overall strain these place on families have nothing to do with the decline in marriage?

Let me answer your question with a question: if President David [REDACTED], D-Wherever, were to ride into office with a Democratic supermajority in both houses and pass sweeping liberal reforms that still stayed within a capitalist system (higher wages, universal health care, the WPA, etc., but no worker control of enterprises and a union support level a tad below your own), what effect do you think that would have on marriage?
