My brother read that Russia could have staged this purposely during the Olympics because most of the world leaders are in Beijing. Anyone think it's possible?

JJ, you are so right when you talk about the paranoia of the russians. I guess it's the weather. Anyways I wouldn't trust one thing that comes out of any russian govt officials mouth, ever.

I remember something my dad once told me. He said he thought the Russians were so paranoid was because of their history. They haven't been conquered, but they've been overrun, a lot.
