He's still just a kid.  He'll (probably, hopefully) grow out of it.

FF for being a fellow Joisey-defender, and also in protest of the constant bullying he seems to get.  Yeah, I'm a softcock.  Deal with it.

This is a public discussion forum, not a private group of friends.  The rules and norms ought to be, I would hope, somewhat different between the two.

I'm familiar with that link and its findings mostly gibe with my real-world experience- but I think you're misapplying it here.
