John Carney is going to win, hands down.

Delaware hasn't elected a Republican governor ever since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

I was trying to make a joke.

The eighties was indeed a long time ago and Michael Castle is a dinosaur, figuratively speaking.

Almost all states have elected governors of both parties since 1990. Delaware has an unusually long streak.

Republicans have won every Utah gubernatorial race since 1984. I think that's the national record for either party right now.
