I don't think your average American has ever known who any of the Canadian PMs are. Sorry, guys, but we really don't think about your country at all apart from stereotypes about hockey and "eh."

At best, we'll know who Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher were. Most Americans do not know who the current British PM is. They know who the Queen is and some probably assume she is the head of government.

The only Middle Eastern leader Americans have ever been vaguely familiar with is Saddam Hussein. And that was only after two military engagements with him.
