I'm surprised you think that so poorly of Lyndon as to lump him with Buchanan.

Pretty sure he meant Andrew Johnson, a man usually found in the bottom ranks for denying civil and voting rights to Freedmen after the Civil War. Not to mention turning up drunk to his inauguration the day after Lincoln's assassination...
