With this latest PPP poll, he is making zero progress. He is my 2nd favorite candidate and he does not deserve to be doing this poorly, but he has to face reality...

In every campaign we have seen candidates drop out the year before the election. Moseley Braun/Gilmore/Vilsack. Probably the best comparison is Tommy Thompson, who dropped out Oct07 as he wasnt doing as well as he needed to in Iowa.

I predict SAntorum drops out before Christmas and endorses Gingrich

Great thread! Please proceed to the next grade.

I have seen your posts and know you are a Santorum supporter... I am too- he is my 2nd favorite candidate after Newt.

Why would Santorum endorse Gingrich when he has made a career being a champion of pro-life and pro-family causes? If anything, he would probably endorse Romney if he dropped out.

He and Gingrich seem to agree on the most during hte debates...definitely on foreign policy

And why would anyone who "has made a career being a champion of pro-life and pro-family causes" endorse Mitt Romney?

Yeah, I think he's definitely in until Iowa, at least.

And considering how crazy the GOP primary has been, why wouldn't he stick around for 5 more weeks and hope he becomes the flavor at just the right time?
