So trashy. Target has Starbucks. And class.
I understand that being from MN, criticizing Target is probably akin to insulting your religion, but perhaps you can illuminate me as to what is exactly "classy" about a big box store.
Unless of course, by classy, you just mean, "having marketing that targets white women that don't want to be seen in a Wal-Mart" and having fewer poor minorities in your average store than some other big box stores. I'm a little disheartened to see a Dem be so blasé about using such a euphemism, but color me unsurprised.
They are somewhat cleaner and more organized. Plus, Minnesotans love supporting local. Targets are much more plentiful in MN (obviously) than Wal-Marts, and from my travel around the country - the MN Targets are nicer/better maintained than the ones say in the South or Western US. They were all just renovated in the Twin Cities area in the last couple years, including those Starbucks upgrades and liquor stores inside (MN law is stupid and you can't buy beer outside of liquor stores mostly).
