She's doing a fair job questioning Ford and establishing the facts, which of course makes this whole thing a disaster for Republicans.

Yes, this is political theater, not a trial.

Republicans usually get this, but not today.

Hatch is in his 80s. Him being completely tone deaf is not a surprise here.

Mitchell is following up on Whelan's stuff.

Conservatives always end up telling on themselves in the end.

Harris is so much better then Booker that is isn't even funny. Booker uses his time to make some grandstanding speech. Meanwhile, Harris is out here cutting Mitchell's throat.

People should never put this two in the same sentence ever again.

Ford is the final nail in the midterm coffin of the Republicans and Trump.

Unsure, it can just as easily fire up the GOP base.

Just like Moore.

Kavanaugh's testimony is not for the committee or the public. This is for Trump.

Conservatives reactions to Kavanaugh is just more evidence why every Republican should be voted out this November.

The entire movement is diseased and amoral.

His being combative with Democrats and Senate Democrats is going to calm fears among the Fox News crowd and Conservatives.

I'm just wondering if that's enough for 50 votes.
Not gonna sit well with the more bipartisan senators. But are there enough of them to halt the nomination?

They don't exist.

The closest are Collins and Murkowski. But they aren't really "bipartisan", but more politically pragmatic.

When have Democrats ever had guts? Not since FDR tried to pack the court, at least.

Pack it up, boys, Kavanaugh's gonna be confirmed. A gang-rapist will be on the Supreme Court.

What the hell can Democrats do?

Kavanaugh has acquited himself.  The fate of millions of unborn babies hangs in the balance now.  Republicans need to vote NOW and confirm.  If the vote fails, there should be no hearings for the next nominee, just an immediate up and down vote.  The Democrats will dig up “dirt” on anyone if they have enough time to do so.

At least you're honest about your motivations.

If only Democrats were.

We are. You could literally confirm almost any non-rapist right wing judge over the next 3 months. Democratic opposition to kavanaugh has nothing to do with insincere politics because it just wouldnt work.

Don't bother.

Conservatives believe that everyone is just as much as amoral partisan hack as they are. They all think this is a Democratic plot because this is exactly what they would do if the roles were reverse.

The idea that this is some Democratic hit job to deny a right wing judge is absurd, because even if they succeed, Trump will just nominate another right wing judge, this time doing a better vetting job and he or she will get confirmed. If this is just a ruse, it's a colossal waste of time.

Democrats are being sincere in that they believe the accuser based on an objective look at the evidence and dont want someone like that on the Court. Democrats would be acting the same if this were a liberal nominee.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What a joke. Sincere? Yeah right.

And what's to stop the Democrats from doing like-minded dirty tricks with whom ever Trump nominates? Any shmuck can come forward with a false allegation all over again, ad nauseum.

Sincere my arse. It is completely partisan. Where's the proof, Sherlock?

They didn't do this with Gorsuch or any other Trump nominee for any position. Further proof that this is a sincere reaction to evidence.

What bollocks.

This is the seat that swings the court to the right and has every liberal sh**tting themselves with fear - so they will stop at nothing to prevent this from happening. Sad. And sets a very bad precedent.

This makes zero sense.

If they had picked Hardiman or even Barrett, they would be on their way to a majority.

The Democrats will never let a conservative woman on the court, if they have the ability to affect it.

They would if they had the means to stop it. But they don't have the numbers.

We have to destroy these people in November. And if we win, it doesn't end there. The next Democratic congress should be the biggest pack of political hacks in US history. They need to open investigations into everything the GOP has done the last two years. No stone left underturned.

Why do people not consider that not confirming BK will actually turn out Republican's even further in the midterms as a backlash to what the R's will see as a partisan hackjob of false accusations and furthering sickening tactics by  the left?

Republicans keep making this stupid argument. No one is buying this crap, you guys turned out for Moore and still lost.

Democrats should just blackmail Graham by filming him having gay sex

Graham being gay is an open secret though or at least that is what I thought.

Republicans confirming Kavanaugh will NEVER be forgotten.

I can't even fully express how angry I am. The Republican Party needs to be completely wiped out from existence.

#F**kKavanaugh #F**kJeffFlake #F**kTheGOP

What about the controlled opposition who were complacent in allowing this, and many other bad things, to happen? Time to take off your final layer of blinders, my friend.

You are not a serious person.

Come on thats the equivalent of a coup. We have had 9 on the court forever. Adding new spots would be a very obvious slide into tyranny, but then again the to left those old white guys from the 18th century should just shut up

lol, who gives a ****?

Your party has already turned the court into a joke. Democrats should impeach Kavanaugh and then expand the court when they hit the trifecta.

What goes around comes around.
