Challenge: describe "your" country

Well describing a country is not really fun, even less would be running one, in fact it's something I am too lazy to do. I would prefer to be a union president of the key labour group in your country, with enough power to change leadership  if necessary(think Arthur Scargill).

I got a hell of a lot of death points and came a hair's-breadth from being banned when I described my country.  That's right.

It was a good read, unlike the majority in this thread.
