Feels like news agencies based in Chicago should start submitting as many requests as possible from respected white/Asian/Jewish reporters and let the administration turn them down. Create a paper trail, because this is genuinely actionable.

Gabbard rails against cancel culture, but is all for cancel culture when it serves her need to be a centerfold for conservatives.
Is there an example of her doing this

Yeah, it feels like calling a callout of a politician for a blatantly racist action "cancel culture" is a stretch.

That tweet is clearly a shout out to conservatives who support her. Don't think she isn't going to eventually grift off of them.

She's saying that Lightfoot should resign her post because some people didn't like what she said, so that seems like cancel culture to me (at least by conservative radical standards). Lightfoot is within her First Amendment rights, so if we are too believe that everyone has the right to say everything that they want to and not face any consequences, then this is cancel culture.

A politician is not within their first amendment rights to restrict journalists based on their race. Rather, they are in direct violation of the first amendment.
