assaulting white supremacists (scummy people, but i'll call it assault because justice is supposed to be blind) clearly calls for fycking shooting people.

Well, that really depends on what the laws are regarding concealed carry and self-defense in Minnesota.

Putting aside our mutual distaste for white supremacists, if a group is set upon by another group and assaulted, firing a few non-lethal shots to wound and scare off the crowd seems like a reasonable reaction.

Jesus Christ.  Shooting people is a reasonable response to the threat of death or grievous injury.  It's not something you can do if you feel unsafe or fearful.  I'm pretty sure that's the law everywhere in the United States. 

It's not "feeling unsafe" if you're actually in the process of being assaulted. That's where self-defense kicks in.

Watching the video and reading the follow-ups, it really seems like these Neo-Nazi thugs were likely looking for trouble and ready to shoot at the first provocation, though. Hope they round them up and prosecute them.
