I’m sorry but this story strikes me as complete horse sh**t!!! It has now gone from being an affair to a “dirty old man” incident… how long before we find that all that happened was this girl being asked to work for one of his campaigns? Or something equally innocuous… and where is the wife beating Sydney Blumenthal or the black Clinton love child? That Druge promised us… the man has issues and not unlike J Edgar Hoover has a self loathing that has lead him to become fascinated with others personal lives and deviancies real or imagined…
As for the Sun it’s the UK equivalent of the New York Post.. very, very biased to the right… however when ever I’ve been over there I’ve generally read the Guardian or the Independent (rather like the New York Times or the Washington Post respectively) but anything the Sun says should be taken with a fistful of salt… added to this Time, WP and the other news outlets that Druge said where researching this have said that they are not…
To me it seems that it’s a rumour that while unlikely to be true cannot be quickly dismissed… so I would argue that the intention with this story is to bump the stories of AWOL, the lack of job growth and Bush’s sliding approval ratings off the headlines… just my take on it…
