What if the 2000 Election had gone to Congress and the House had voted for Bush as POTUS and the Senate had voted (narrowly) for Lieberman as VP…what would the likely outcome of that have been…and how would things have been different to how they actually turned out?

Yeah, would Lieberman run against what had happened in the last four years.

Very good piont...ahh...what might have been...humm... wonder who would have been Lieberman's VP...somone on the left, Feingold, Edwards (ok he's not that leftwing but hey), or perhaps Dick Durbin...humm that could be a tough one...

And how about Bush? would he go with Cheney or someone younger and less shady and mean in 2000 Cheney brought gravitas and that effectively cancelled out his more negative traits... but if Bush had been Prez for four years he wouldnt need that supposed gravitas...so someone more appealing like, Frist, Pataki or Owens might be chosen... as Bush's new VP...
