Some even larger cities do have Republican mayors, but are they really Tea Party?
Mesa, Arizona is the largest totally Republican big city. San diego also has a history of GOP mayors (can't recall the last elected democrat) and Jacksonville is totally GOP too.

Falconer (San Diego) is, surely (and -thankfully) NOT a tea-party Republocan
