I think there are some Crist voters who wouldn't have gone for a relatively generic 72 year old Democrat.

Seriously though what would Scott attack Rich on? I think the only issue with her would be raising $$ but she'd basically be a blank slate against Scott whereas he and his ad team had a field day with Crist.

It was an election in which initially favored Democratic candidates for Governor lost in Massachusetts, Maryland, Illinois, and Maine. That would have been enough to doom Rich.
