Republicans take Oklahoma State Senate

And to think, Oklahoma used to be one of the strongest states in the country for the Socialist Party. Now look at it.

The strange thing is that the Republicans in Oklahoma have actually exploited some (not all, of course!) of the same sentiments in the Oklahoma electorate that the Socialists did in the early '20th century (ah, what might have been if SPA organisation in Oklahoma hadn't been destroyed from above during the First World War...).
