Things are moving within Welsh Labour as well; Huw Lewis has said that the party needs to be radically overhauled and has set up a thinktanky thing.

The 2009 Leadership election should be fun.

I read something the other day about the Hard Left not having enough signatures to be able to run a candidate.
What on earth's happend to the Hard Left in Scotland, btw? Both the Labour and non-Labour versions seem to have collapsed recently.

Other Welsh Labour news; Eluned Morgan (an MEP) is up to stuff as well (mainly involving looking at winning back the Welsh speaking voters Labour has lost over the past few decades). People involved in this include Gerald Parry (a Trade Unionist), Alun Davies AM (one-time chair of Plaid who defected to Labour) and, somewhat controversially, Meri Huws the chair of the Welsh Language Board.
