He's a millionaire is he? I can't help but notice that he's failed to mention that here: http://nedlamont.com/bio

His bio does mention that his Grandfather was a banker and that he lives in Fairfield county.

Hmm... does not look good...

Ah; Here he claims to run a "small business"... hmm... and the policy-ish stuff there does look rather paternalist... and the usual, seemingly obligatory, slumming by the looks of it... oh dear...

...no... this doesn't look good at all...

Looks like just the sort of insufferable rich liberal type of politician that I really, really can't stand. I was hoping that he might be a genuinely left-wing activist or something... a contested primary battle between Lieberman and such a person might have been interesting. Oh well...

I assume that everyone criticizing Lamont for not being a poor hates FDR?

1. You have quite an obnoxious elitist streak don't you?
2. I'm not criticizing Lamont for not being working class. I am criticizing him for being dishonest and for having a distinctly patronising, paternalist attitude (in his policies at least).
3. And just to make this very clear, I don't like Lieberman either. For an example of why, look at his general line of attack at Lamont.

Himself. I did read his website you know... he seems to be projecting an image of himself that is totally false. O/c this be America, so that's normal...

His policies have a certain ring of that to them. As does his blatent slumming.
Mind you, there aren't many "left-wing" Democrats you can't accuse of not doing that...
